Paul has dealt with owner managed businesses for many years and advises on both corporate and personal tax matters. He has a very loyal client base, having acted for some clients for more than 30 years. 

Paul has a degree in Economics and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. He became a partner at Davies Williams, Chartered Accountants in 1988, and this firm then merged with Carston in 2022. 

He has a wealth of experience in the SME sector and specialises in dealing with medical practices and engineering consultants in the construction industry. 

Outside of work Paul is a member of a local Rotary Club and helps to organise a Christmas Fayre to raise funds for local charities. He also enjoys coastal walks and spends most weekends in Gower; his grandchildren also help to keep him young. He also endures the highs and lows of being a Cardiff City FC season ticket holder.
