With over 20 years of dedicated service, Kurt Bettles is a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional. He began his journey with the firm as a trainee in 1999 and achieved his qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 2003, culminating in his promotion to Partner in 2015.

Kurt’s expertise extends across a diverse range of industries, allowing him to offer comprehensive guidance to a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. He provides valuable insights on all aspects of accountancy, as well as personal and corporate taxation.

Leveraging his strong background in Information Technology (I.T.), Kurt is well-versed in advising on and implementing computerised and online accounting solutions. He possesses extensive proficiency in popular platforms like Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero. This technical understanding has also led to his responsibility for managing the delivery of the technology strategy across Carston’s multiple offices.

Kurt is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with his clients, ensuring they receive personalised and effective advice tailored to their unique needs.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Kurt enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. When he’s not with them or taxiing his boys to one activity or another, you’ll likely find him near a football pitch. Kurt previously served as Club Captain for both Barry Town Football Club and Dinas Powys Football Club in the Welsh League, and since his playing days are now in the rearview mirror, he takes pride in passing on his “wisdom” to the next generation as a junior football coach at North Cardiff Cosmos Football Club.
